Chess for the First Time in the US

For the first time anywhere in the United States, chess instruction will be offered as part of the regular curriculum of the Chautauqua Summer Schools.

The Art of the 1800s Slide Lecture was postponed Tuesday morning when no space was found to be available due to increased activities scheduled in the Arts and Crafts Building.
