How to turn $1 into $2

Updated: Mar 18

All you have to do to double your money is give to the Chautauqua UCC Society Carpet Fund. Bill and Marie Libby have generously challenged us to raise $25,000 to recarpet the parlor, hallways and stairs in the Mayflower. We will also repair and restore the first floor porch doors so that they are water tight. The Libbys will match dollar for dollar up to a total of $25,000. So far we've raised just over $7,000 and we'd like to wrap up the fundraising by the end of June. So please, if you can, give generously to this fund by sending a check (made out to the Chautauqua UCC Society) to Grace Lipman at 115 Duke Dr. Lake Worth, FL 33460. Mark your check “carpet fund”. You can also donate online with a credit card. Just go to CUCCS.org and follow the links to Donate. If you prefer, you may give gifts of stock or mutual funds. Call our treasurer, Rachel Barnard for more information. You can reach her at 773.835.2825.

Thank you in advance for your continued support of our Society. Gifts like these are how we keep our weekly room rates some of the lowest on the grounds which enables more people, even those of modest means, to access all that Chautauqua has to offer.
